Sedona inspires outdoor adventures, and The Arabella, one of the most welcoming Sedona, AZ, hotels, is ideally situated for recreation in the stunning Red Rocks. If you’re a fan of craft beer, then you know that after a day playing in the great outdoors, whether you’re shredding the Red on your mountain bike or hiking Marg’s Draw, there’s nothing like a cold beer. And if it’s local, all the better!
When it comes to brewery hopping, Sedona is spoilt for choice. Here are a few of our favorites to check out when you’re staying with us at The Arabella. And if you don’t have time to fit them all in, consider staying a bit longer with our Weekend Extender package – stay three nights or more, and enjoy all our complimentary amenities, including beer and wine tastings and complimentary cruiser bikes.
Squid Ink Brewing Co.
Stop by local favorite Squid Ink Brewing Co., particularly beloved in Sedona for its community-based foundation and commitment to sustainable brewing. Try the light-bodied shandy with citrus hints, or one of their bolder brews. The company dreams up innovative beers inspired by the seasons, so no matter when you’re visiting The Arabella’s Red Rock hotel rooms, you’re likely to find something new to sip.
Oak Creek Sedona Brewery
No matter what day of the week you’re in town, Oak Creek Brewery is open for you to stop by and sip a cold one after a hike or bike ride in Red Rock Country. Open Monday through Thursday 2-8 PM, Fridays and Saturdays noon-10 PM, and Sundays noon-8 PM, this producer of award-winning craft beer has been around for more than two decades. Once you’ve ordered your drink of choice, stick around the beer garden and fire pit, where there is live music five nights a week. (Want to keep the musical entertainment going? Return to The Arabella, where we have complimentary live tunes weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, coupled with local wine and beer tastings.)
Sedona Beer Company
Truly independent and local, Sedona Beer Company is as simple and pure as its name. Their base malt comes from the local Hauser family, which is then malted by Camp Verde’s Sinagua Malt. Proceeds benefit conservation efforts for the Verde River. Feel good about every beer you order here, from the hazy Desert Trip to the heavier Scotty’s Scotch Ale. You’re helping ensure the future of the Red Rock Country landscape, so that you’ll be able to return time and time again to The Arabella and our beautiful surroundings.
