History

History

The Arabella Hotel is named for Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly, the namesake of our beautiful town and a warm-hearted pioneer woman who came to Arizona Territory with her husband Theodore Carlton (TC) Schnebly in 1901. The Schnebly’s planted orchards along Oak Creek and hosted early tourists in the area that is now known as Sedona. You will find a statue of Sedona Arabella Schnebly in the main lobby of the Resort.

Perfect spot to stay when visiting Sedona! Warm friendly staff, comfy rooms with balconies to watch the sunset, minutes from shopping, fantastic free breakfast(loved the freshly baked muffins!) and best part--a trail behind the hotel, to sit around a firepit, or in Adirondack chairs at the top to star gaze, watch the sunset or sunrise!! Gorgeous!! And only 6 mins from the Airport Mesa Vortex! Will definitely be back to The Arabella!!

Amazing stay at Sedona. Breakfast with a view. Hiking trails adjacent to the property. Coffee, tea and station to refill your water bottles.

My husband and I flew into Phoenix for a business conference and decided to drive up to Sedona. When we arrived it was nighttime and all we saw was the silhouette of mountains. When they “turned on the lights” as my husband jokingly says, I was in awe at the natural beauty of the majestic mountains. We came up to the breakfast area and I was even more amazed that they had gluten free oats and other food items, since I have a gluten sensitivity. I give this place a 10 out of 10!!

Our stay here was great! Clean room, clean facilities, and AMAZING complimentary breakfast. The eggs sausage and potatoes were very good but the muffins were soooo good. So many different flavors, I wanted to try them all. The double chocolate was my favorite
